I, the undersigned registered voter of St. James Parish, Louisiana, stand against the St. James Parish Council’s recent decision to redesignate Shady Grove from agricultural to industrial in our Zoning Plan. 

This decision was made without consideration of the residents of Romeville who will now face even more cancer-causing pollutants surrounding their homes. 

I urge you to reconsider this decision, or I will support a challenger to your position in the upcoming Parish Council elections who will actually stand up for the Black community and our neighbors.
